How To Remove Acrylic Resin Casting Sandpaper Scratches?

I just removed acrylic resin from a silicone mold and foolishly sanded across to remove some very minor bubbles. I used 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper without water. After weeks of studying how to properly work with acrylic resin and carefully layering this (last June) birthday gift of a 5" wing span Blue Darner Dragonfly so it would 't be ruined, I've scratched the entire clear surface. I'll see my GS next week. This was the only clear side of the acrylic. The other side is "frosted" from the mold itself. BTW, the best insect acrylic result was using Tupperware to encase a Praying Mantis - when I ran out silicone containers. How can I remove these sandpaper scratches and be sure no additional harm will be done? Thank you for any advice! (These insects were dead when found).
