long division math help?

3040.5 divided by 1.02

No matter what I've tried, it doesn't match what the calculator says. Can somebody explain the steps please? Thank you!!!

    3040.5 divided by the 1.02 start by moving the decimal 2 places to the right and continue from there. the answer should be smaller than the larger number. This is so you can learn to do it. Respond with what you get for an answer.

    When you move the decimal of 3040.5 two places, did you get 304050?
