Peacock cichlids with Mbuna cichlids?

I know this is a debatable topic but can Mbuna cichlids and Peacock cichlids co-exist with each other. From what I've been hearing, Mbuna are much more aggressive and more hyper than Peacocks.

That is usually the problem, the mbunas pick on and kill the peacocks. Peacocks are also from more sandy, open parts of the lake, not rocky like the mbunas like it. If the tank is very large and has room for both types of environments than it can sometimes work out. Best to pick one type and go with them.
