How do you solve quadratic equations by graphing?
This would be very easy if the graph was numbered and such; anyways, one equation, for example, is:
x^2 + 4x = 0

You are looking for the roots of the equation or where the graph of f(x)=x^2+4x equals 0
If you graph this, you will see that it equals 0 at x=-4 and x=0
you could use it for any value, just look at where the horizontal line, x=whatever intersects the function
