How long will it take to hit 315 pounds?
Okay so I'm 20 years old and weigh about 180-185. I recently maxed my bench out at 255 for one rep. All I'm trying to get to is 315, then I don't really care what my bench is after that. So I want to know how long you guys might think it would take me to hit 315 pounds? Thanks in advance!!!

If your trying to max out, thats usually the only chest exercise that you'll do that day. Ex, warm up with 10 smooth reps, then rest for 2 minutes. Hop on with 265 (make sure you have a spotter) and give it all you got!! even if its a negative rep (when someone has to get it off your chest) as long as your pushing as hard as you can, you'll make strength gains. Now wait 4-6 minutes to recover and drop it to 230 ish. this will feel very light. Go until absolute failure, and wait 3 minutes. Then drop it 20 more pounds and go for one last failure set. Every other chest day try adding 5 more pounds and doing a pyramid like this Good luck bro!

I was 180 lbs about 6-7 years ago. Now I'm about 290. It took years to build up all that weight, and I basically never go outside or get out of my chair. So unfortunately it'll probably take just as long. I'm not sure if it's possible to eat worse food than I do, but maybe you'll find something that'll help speed it up.
