Vinyl to Digital conversion Via Audacity?
I'm using a Numark PT01 USB with audacity software for the conversion. After recording and listening to the play back the sound seem distorted or too loud. Any help to fix this?

I thought the same thing, however I tried it at the lost recording setting and still the same issue

you cant "fix it on the computer - cos when you recorded you set the input level too high and overloaded the recording, so the level is clipped at its maximum
the only way to "fix" it is to re-record at a lower level
(if its just too loud and not distorted you can amplify the recording at say 80% of the original level.)
