The Lib -Dems are a model of Victorian financial rectitude compared with the Green Party

Every time Caroline Lucas opens her mouth , my jaw drops: I cannot see any rational thought process taking place between her brain and mouth .

When it comes to the Green Partys' policies and ideas, as the old saying goes , "they are not even wrong" .

It's hard to decide whether they are called the Green Party, because they think money grows on trees, or because they smoke a lot of wacky baccy

The Greens will get ZERO exposure in the media when the election comes around anyway, otherwise most Labour supporters will realize that they are the real Labour party and the Labour party are the real Tory party.

Regardless, if only a 10th of what they're promising was ever implemented it would still be better that the BS we have now.

Usual pie in the sky twaddle, does anyone actually believe any of this ?

Probably, but like the Lib-Dems they are an irrelevance.. They announce a new living wage of £10 an hour but not yet, you will have to wait another six years for it. How much will £10 be worth in 2020

For years the liberals and then Liberal Democrats promised everything and anything in the run up to a General election, normally because they were fully aware that they would never have to implement them.

When they fought the last General election they promised more of the same but were royally screwed when they found themselves as part of the Government, still no worry's they just ditched the policies that the Tories did not like, and this of course included the ones that got them the most votes. Free University etc. Hence they have alienated vast amounts of those that voted for them.

Subsequent bumbling and poor decision making have made them virtually untouchable to the voter, which in my view can only be a good thing.

I was driving home the other day and caught some of the Green manifest being announced by their Australian leader. Usual trip to begin with, but then the big one. A free hand out of £80 to every adult in the UK every week for life, including asylum seekers?

A free £40 to every child in the UK every week until they become adults when this rises to £80.

In the mean time the money will go to the parents.

So a family of 2 parents and 3 children will be picking up £280 per week on top of whatever they may be earning?

First question, have they costed it, answer NO.

I think that whilst they have had some decent policies in terms of what their core values are, this is indicative of what they could be in government, totally incompetent.

We (UKIP) are seeking to get the minimum wage made free of tax, to create an incentive to get people back to work, and to make companies have to pay everyone at least this amount, thus making it just as well to employ UK Nationals as what is currently cheap immigrant labour.

How many would care to go back to work if they could pick up this money every week?

It is a great idea to help everyone out, but it simply could not be afforded. Unless of course they removed all our armed forces and security provisions, because after all they want to open us up to anyone who wants to come from absolutely anywhere.

    Madness, madness, madness.

  • If you know you've zero chance of forming a government, you can promise what you want. The Lib Dems must have been shocked when the country called their bluff. Vote for me and I'll give you higher spending, lower taxation and free beer. (The tragedy is that there are a lot of people with the vote who can't see why that's not possible.)
