Why Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Go From Door to Door?

They don't get paid. They are not crazy as some are Doctors, Bankers, Teachers and engineers to name a few. They except ridiculous and abuse for it.

Is their message that important?

Because we have a genuine love for all people and want them to live forever here on earth under Jehovah's Kingdom rulership.

Because we love our King enough to obey his command to preach to people in all nations and make disciples.

Jesus didn't say just attend Christian meetings and do nothing else. He said "GO and make disciples"

The word GO means take action, be busy.

Millions of people are now baptized Christian Witnesses of Jehovah because of the door to door ministry. I am one of them.

It works. Jehovah is blessing our ministry in all it's many forms, including door to door and Jesus is overseeing it, ensuring that his command to preach the good news is being carried out throughout the earth.

We are proud to be the people who have been given this life saving commission.

The JW go from door to door to recruit people who doesn't know the word of God, and they try their best to bring people into their religious organization. I believe in my heart they think they're doing what is right, and I applaud them for all their efforts, but they failed to realize that their recruiting does more harm, than good. Why are they leaving this organization if it was so great? I wouldn't leave if I was happy, but why are they leaving? So many testimonies to tell, and not enough room here to explain, but I also believe that they recruit people to replace those who have left the organization, and their revenue loses won't impact their financial portfolio.

If you really take a look at this organization, it's a multi billion business, but the poor sheep's don't see this, nor do they know anything about their portfolio, and they're only allowed to accept what they're being told. But I guarantee you some of these people are sweet and mean no harm, but the sad part is that they are not even aware of what they're doing, and in the same token they are causing harm by recruiting innocent people to prep them and use them as merchandise sales people for the WT/JW's organization.

    II Peter 2: 1 -3

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom they way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you; whose judgments now of a long time lingered not, and their damnations slumbered not.

One thing I learned early on in life, that not everybody is honest, and no matter how sweet a person may look or pretend to be, he/she has something to hide. But in this case, it's even worse for these are wolves dressed in sheep's clothing deceiving and being deceived, and this are scriptures that were written way before we were even born, but yet we see them being unfolded right before our own eyes.

I follow no man nor his theologies, but I only follow the Holy Spirit of God, for he instructs and guides me with wisdom, knowledge and understanding of his word. My suggestion is for you to read your own bible and let God teach you all things, in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

They are expected too by the false F.D.S they follow!

By reading the bible by itself I escaped the programming.

Seeing Jesus IS God, not an angel!

Unfortunately, they are still following the old law, though they refuse to realise this!

By which you must fulfill the whole law or be found a sinner worthy of death!

Going Door to Door was expecting as 'works' pertaining to salvation.

You could not even be chosen as MS or elder if your Field service(ministry) was weak.

I found out by Love of God that only Grace, battling sin and Faith (NOT religion) saves

a person! The Bible ALONE is our teacher, Esp, not any freemason cult!

Door to door is to keep them busy under the programme so they do not read the bible

without any mind control literature backing it up!

JW's let God teach through the bible. Burn the material the WT prints that is a 'veil'

seperating you from the True God and true Jesus Christ!

For the same reason Mormon's and Christian's do it, to win converts to their way of thinking. Christian's do it because we are commanded to {acts 1:8} spread the ' good news ' of the Gospel message, " you are saved through the blood of Christ."

Prove to me they aren't crazy, lol. I was one for many years and now that I'm on the outside looking in, I swear I was crazy for even being involved in something like that. It's all mind control. It's mind control and money making. Of course the witnesses themselves see none of this money. They are actually unaware that they are being used to make the money, lol. It's ridiculous. Then they have the nerve to talk about churches for passing around a collection plate. The only difference between them and the church is that you run into their "donation box" right before exiting the building. Money collecting is money collecting no matter what the approach is. They are no different than any other religion in my eyes.

Their ludicrous cult doctrine requires that every member who wishes to maintain their status in the cult donate countless hours of time and countless amounts of money to keep, maintain and grow their cult publications, cult meeting places and cult membership. Not complying with all aspects of cult doctrine in regard to this will draw unwanted attention from cult leaders with the aim of re-education and enhanced re-indoctrination and/or in the worst cases actual dis-fellowship and casting out.

They are robotic that way. Programmed to pester.

If there were really a god, it would not need those liars to promote it.

I figure a god, of all things would be able to at least communicate, without a fleet of con men selling it for him

I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses so I can answer that question for you.

We go primarily because we have been commanded to by our Master (Jesus), in the bible he told his followers to "Go make disciples" and that's what we do, it's part of our worship.

We are motivated not by money, we get no "brownie points" we all preach so nobody doing it gets special privilèges, we are motivated by love of God and neighbour.

Someone knocked on my door many years ago, I'm very happy they did - I cannot help but do the same for someone else.

  • I personally think it started out as a scam to sell their Watchtower magazine. I've heard many witnesses pay for the magazines themselves to go door to door. Whoever reaps the money from these magazine sales/production is running the scheme
