Dragon Age is better imo. If you like Mass Effect, you'll probably like DA.
Fallout games are good, but I feel that they are overrated.

I'm playing the Mass effect trilogy right now, but I'm looking for a next game to play when I finish mass effect. I'm torn between Dragon Age and Fallout. I like skyrim and I like mass effect. I'm usually more for fantasy games and generally prefer non shooting games, but there are exceptions.

I recommend playing both eventually, but I like Dragon Age more. It has a deeper story and better characters, similar to Mass Effect. You will probably prefer the gameplay too, it's tactical party based rather than fps.
