How to sell an idea to developer of an app?

If we have an idea about improving an app; for instance "it will be good if whatsapp have this thing and thing or can do this or this." What is the best way to sell our ideas?

    No one is going to pay for ideas. They have entire marketing departments for this type of stuff.

    Unless you have actually rewritten the app to mike it do what you want, there is no money in it for you. Nobody has to pay you for a suggestion.
