Are you happy or sad/angry that iTunes gave you a free U2 album?

Seen a lot of mixed emotions.

Some people love it, but some people are angry that U2 is now in their cloud. What do you think? Assuming you use iTunes.

I personally was way happy. U2 is my favorite band! It was awesome to find out they gave me their album. I was like, "I don't remember pre-ordering the album, but wouldn't be surprised if I did."

I don't understand why people would be angry by having a few songs in their library. It takes literally 2 seconds to select a group of songs and delete them and never see them again.

What I do understand is the invasion of personal space. It's empowering to Apple to be able to put unauthorized files onto your device. I think people are uncomfortable by that. Like, if someone just walked into my house unauthorized, even if they walked in to give me a gift, I'd be uncomfortable with it. I think that's what people are feeling.

Thankfully I don't have an iPhone. If I did, I'd be mad about it. I have absolutely no interest in U2, and I am very picky about how organized I keep my music. It just wastes my time to go in and delete it all. They should have just put the album under the free section of the iTunes store.
