Christians, I prayed I could get a tomato sauce stain out of my shirt, and I did. Does this prove God loves me and answers prayers?

Getting a tomato stain out of your shirt is something not exactly everyone would pray for, but it may pass depending on what your definition of a prayer is. God does love everyone and answers prayers, however, you need to be mindful of what you're asking for. If you're always asking to be rich, or have more without doing anything to open that door to success, chances are you will not get what you asked for. God works through people who will accept His plan for them, and builds them up through character. You will receive more out of the good that you give to others rather than wishing on yourself. Therefore, God certainly does answer prayers. Maybe, in some subtle way, our small petty prayers are answered by God. He has time for even the most trivial problems in our lives. Shows how great our Father in heaven is.

Do you think the stain would have come out, even if you didn't prey?
Here is an experiment
All week pray for certain things to happen. Keep track of how many times it works.
Next week don't pray for anything keep track of how many things work out for you.

No. God loves you but he also provided the knowledge for you to figure out how to get the stain out :)

It's about as clear as it gets. I suggest joining the clergy.
