why does my windows defender keep turning off when restart my laptop?

I have a window 7 laptop and I don't have any other anti-virus programs on my laptop?

    Because it's Windows. Macs don't do stupid stuff like this

    If you want it to start up automatically you would have to enable it in system config. Go to start, type in system config, click on system configuration, then startup, and then make sure windows defender is enabled.

    really? no AV? save yourself some time (therefore money) by spending 20 dollars (that's 5.4 cents a day) and get kaspersky
