Datolite is a shy, retiring rock...not really much to look at. Why is datolite so cool? I could never explain it...can you?

    Datolite has PRESENCE. Datolite has Mojo. Datolite is a native Michigan rock, often with copper inclusions. So, like your school colors, it demands respect from Michiganders! Datolite was used for scrimshaw at the turn of the century. Why? There were other white rocks surely?
