can someone whose walkaround weight is 142 fights and stays at 147?

logically he will be better fighting at 140 but what if there was nobody ther to fight, lucrative fights are at 147, and hes beating the elites of 147... would you say hes a natural welter?

Most lose several pounds for weigh in and are much heavier at fight time.

If he is beating guys that weighed in at 147, that means they most likely weigh 156 or heavier at fight time, so he is doing very well.

When I was fighting at 147, my walk around weight was 156.

You said he walks around 142. There's no way he's a natural welter.
