What do you think of pages on Facebook like Police the Police and Copblock? Apparently they've obtained enough following to get attention.?

I don't have Facebook so I don't know what they are going there. (Collecting data?)

COPBLOCK

I subscribed to their .com new letter for a month or two (a couple yrs ago) to figure out what they were about and if I could obtain info from them about an interest I have. Well...like I said it was a month or 2. I also interacted with some YouTubers that are active CopBlock. I've had some interesting discussion. Some interesting because the people have thought out what they're doing and growing in knowledge and understanding. Others are just hothead morons trying to get away with what they can and buck authority. I even met some who video'd an interaction between an Officer and myself. They where much more professional then I'd seen on YouTube. I thanked them and told them I really had it in hand. I didn't say I'd spoke to this . Officers shift Lieutenant more then once. (more the 1 lieutenant). I had even talked to a Captian. The event in question caused me to write the Chief. This got me a phone call from a Captain who wanted to know what I wanted. It was an education program for the Officer in dealing with drivers with health issues and medical letters (more awareness actually they had a program). It took slow continuous persistence for about 6 to 8 months 12 encounters (that I didnt do on purpose I drive a vehicle with graphics) with Officers in that Department to get my data.

I could not have done what I did what cop block methods.

I've never had much direct involvement with Police the Police.

I find there is always someone irritated by police officers, but when you see someone who is truly in a state of constant hatred, ask why, and they will give you an answer that tells you a little about themselves. Bullies tend to complain that cops are trying to intimidate you, dishonest people tell you cops are corrupt, etc. I think this comes from the fact that they view cops from a personal observation of how they would act, if they were placed in the same position

Ah, PR. Public Relations.

It's only fitting since they get most of their information off of the Internet and stupid people who post what they are going to do, are doing, and have done. Who needs to think today?

In short, they are trying to look up to date and "cool." They don't want to alienate the kids like they have the adults. They want to win trust by being on the Internet WHILE they beat and rape the people they are supposed to protect. To me, PR would be better served by not killing unarmed teens and threatening people.

They have a strong following. Mostly racists that hate anyone who isn't white enough, but they also have those who haven't been abused yet. People who don't believe that they blackmail women into sleeping with them to avoid tickets, use illegal ways to entrap people, threaten those they don't like, label innocents (and they even deny anyone is innocent to begin with), and generally act like just another gang. Albeit, a gang with government approval and a license to kill.

You need to start a new group: Police the police that police the police.
