If the existence of God is really SO obvious, why has even the Arch Bishop of Canterbury voicing doubts now?

He says he has doubts for many reasons & addresses God by starting off saying 'If you are really there...' Why would he do that if there really were good reasons to assume God is really there? I mean he is supposed to be the highest authority in the Protestant church & even HE has serious doubts! (Well Mother Teresa voiced similar doubts too towards the end of her life so major Catholics doubt too).

He's just showing his true colors. Jesus and the apostle Paul foretold in the Bible that during our times there would be those claiming to be on his side, but they would just mislead people. (Matt.24:4, 5, 10 &11, 2 Tim.3:1-6) He's not the first or the last person who claims to be devout that doubts what the Bible says.

Not every man has an heart and mind for God. For some, there is no amount of convincing that will ever suffice. It's a personal problem that can be dealt with only personally. The Archbishop of Canterbury in no way represents Christ or Christianity. Nor do his personal views.

Not everyone is a firm believer in our Lord God,who is the Creator of all things. But God is indeed the Creator of all things, and His Word is indeed true. The devil wants to turn as many away from God as possible,He wants people to reject God.

But i Know that God is exactly who He say He is,and that His Word is indeed true.

Because he has seen the light, and there is no God, he can no longer live a lie and perpetuate a confidence trick because he has become a moral atheist.

Everyone has doubts. If you don't ever doubt yourself or your faith, then you have either an enviable life or a pitiable mind.

You can't doubt what you don't have.

Nothing is, or should be presumed, to be obvious. Human perception is notoriously unreliable. If something is actually true, it should be readily and repeatably demonstrable to one and all, with copious supporting documentation.

Only those who have doubts "think they are Christian" the others know their God
