Having symptoms of Hypoglycemia but having sugar doesn't make the symptoms go away... ideas?
Symptoms: * Extreme hunger.
* Feeling nervous or jittery.
* Cold, clammy, wet skin and/or excessive sweating not caused by exercise.
* A rapid heartbeat (tachycardia).
* Numbness or tingling of the fingertips or lips.
* Trembling.
Had a tablespoon of sugar and nothing happened.... I'm also not diabetic (as far as I am aware anyway). I'm also taking Dexamphetamine 2x 5mg tablets twice a day and on iron supplements for those symptoms because I have low iron...
Since Wednesday these symptoms have been a daily occurrence... thoughts?

Once you confirm a low sugar, u treat it with some fast acting glucose followed by some protein.
I use a regular soda and then perhaps some cereal with milk.
One teaspoon of sugar only has 4 carbs

Might not be glucose related at all, could be a kind of panic attack. Might be a side effect of the Dexa. You should call your doctor and report what symptoms you are having and have him figure this out. You might need a lower dose of the stuff. You might be allergic to it.
"Manifestations of acute overdosage with amphetamines include restlessness, tremor, hyperreflexia, rhabdomyolysis, rapid respiration, hyperpyrexia, confusion, assaultiveness, hallucinations, panic states."
