Do you the think the Browns made a mistake by not starting Johnny Manziel?

What Hoyer has done is decent but Johnny Manziel is way more explosive and we started building around him somewhat. Hes the reason we sold so many season passes & we're not even seeing the kid play! We need a franchise qb & I dont think Hoyer can electrify our offense. We passed up Sammy freaking Watkins!!!

Hoyer is 3-1 as a starter for the Browns. The Browns are not going to be above 500. Enjoy the wins while they come and where they come from. That is Brian Hoyer. Good luck when Manzel finally starts because of pressure from the fans. A bad team will become worse

Hoyer is better than Manziel. Manziel will likely end up a bust. Hoyer actually was previously a backup for Tom Brady. Manziel has some poor throwing mechanics and he's very small and he also makes some bad decisions at times. The Browns probably should have passed on Manziel and used the pick to add a key component that they needed more. Manziel will likely be more of a bust than Brady Quinn was.

With Hoyer they came back from a 24-point deficit against Pittsburgh and upset the Saints.

If Manziel helped the Browns increase the attendance, why did they go from an average of 71000 in 2013 to 67000 in their home opener?

Nope hence why the Browns are 1-1. Manziel looked pretty awful in preseason and if they went with him to start the season, there is no doubt the Browns would be 0-2.

    No.

They made a mistake by DRAFTING him.

Small, "mobile" QB in the AFC North? He's gonna get killed as soon as he steps on the field against those defenses.

Just look at how banged up Roethlisberger gets every season......and he's BIGGER than a lot of the guys tackling him.

Lack of explosiveness is excused, when You're winning. ever heard of Bernie Kosar?

let Johnny sit for awhile. maybe He will emulate a good wine and, mature.

The Browns have never lost a game that Johnny Manziel has played... Let that sink in.

You beat Drew Brees and the Saints. So why would anybody suggest that Manziel should have started instead?

Good time Johnny is where he needs to be on the bench by the Gatorade

    No mistake.

    Manziel was obviously not ready.
