Some words for my dogs plaque?

After losing my beautiful dog yesterday I have decided that I would like to have her cremated so I can keep her ashes.

I have chosen a lovely wooden box to keep them in but I'm having trouble with some nice words to put on the plaque.

So far I've come up with these:

I'll hold you in my heart until I hold you in heaven.

In my heart you will forever be, with angel wings please wait for me.

I'm not sure if those sound a bit corny. I want something nice but something different than the typical "faithful friend" thing.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

"There are no leashes in Heaven!"

IDK this is a bit mushy but my parents put the dog down that I had virtually grown up with back in February, and I still have dreams about him.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU6o0

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

I have my cat Pookie in a little pine box. You might want to check out how big the engraving plate they give you is. Pook's just says her name and dates. If I wanted something else it would have had to be special ordered. Sorry for your loss. I also wear a bracelet that matched her collar and wore a memorial paw print pin for a month and a half. You will come up with the right words... give yourself time to grieve, as losing a pet is heartbreaking. Peace to you during this difficult time. ^_^

Have you read the Rainbow Bridge poem? If not, it's on here and will give you some ideas. I have all my last 12 pets in boxes my woodworking husband made, with statues of them on top.

This is a moving poem and absolutely beautiful. I like this version the best of all the ones on the net.

" You left paw prints on my heart."

The other ones you came up with are really nice too.

I'm sorry that you lost your dog. It's so heartbreaking. I can tell that you really loved him. Just know that when it's your time to pass, he will be there waiting for you, and you will have eternity together.

I think your idea is beautiful and very appropriate. Another thing you may want to do is to create a memorial profile for your dog on Dogster.

    http://www.dogster.com/

It's free. On Dogster you can also find others to share your grief.

Spider; My sympathy. It's our blessing to know them. Our curse to out live them :-( But, the words ye seek can only be found in ye heart. No one else can encapsulate Your love. Your memories. Your Dog.
