IDK this is a bit mushy but my parents put the dog down that I had virtually grown up with back in February, and I still have dreams about him.

I have my cat Pookie in a little pine box. You might want to check out how big the engraving plate they give you is. Pook's just says her name and dates. If I wanted something else it would have had to be special ordered. Sorry for your loss. I also wear a bracelet that matched her collar and wore a memorial paw print pin for a month and a half.
