Modern medicine evolves at the same pace as changes in our society. For example, cloning body parts 100 years ago was probably a social myth but today the society accepts it as one of a life saving advancement in medicine.

the one above is perfect. Shortening it out a little bit you want to grab the readers attention right away with a interesting facts but keep what afghan wrote just shorten it and add a kick to the first sentence a startling or interesting fact and act like your yelling it out and writing it persuasively.
