what is causing the hoot noise from the front left of my van?

It sounds like Hoo HOOHOOO hooooo HooHoooo...well something like that..

its does it on turns esp to the left and will continue after I've stopped for a minute or more.

    I'm sorry, I have to laugh. I have a friend that drove his pickup 150 mile round trip and heard a noise when he got home. A rooster had got up on the frame and rode that trip there.

    If the noise continues after you stop do you think it would be to hard for you to go looking for it?
