Do you ever mourn the loss if your alive parents?
I know this sounds weird. I'm 15 and once in awhile I just think about how one day my parents are going to die and I'll be without them. You see I'm freakishly close to both of my parents (whom are divorced) and I can't stop crying about it. My mom is 46 and my dad is 48 and I know they will be around much longer but I don't deal with death well at all. My dog died last year and I still bawl my eyes out about it. Does anybody else do this ?

To be honest, when I was little I would at night thinking about when my parents will die and I won't have them. I would cry from 8 at night till 4 in the morning (leading to me having isomnia). Then when I got a little older I got depression over it. I got over it by now because I don't like my parents anymore, but it is normal to cry about that, it means that you really love your parents, and I wasn't even close to them. So, I do it too. I even cry over the one day that my dog will die. So it is normal, I think.

I think about that sometimes too and I'm sure lots of people do. Death isn't easy to think about or deal with so i would say to try not to think about it because once when they do go, you're gonna regret thinking about it so much. Just spend time with your parents but be sure to spend time w// people other than them too so you don't become super co dependent on them. Have fun and enjoy your time with them and try not to think about the bad things
