He doesn't want to be caught in the middle when US troops are beheaded and citizens start demonstrating. Once that starts he can't withdraw with honor. It will show the world that he is an incompetent leader.

He never said no troops are needed. What he DID say is that it would be a mistake to send US troops.
You DO know that the US is not the only country on Earth with troops, right?

Even with troops, ISIS cannot be destroyed. It feeds on the evil of conservatism.

your not in the armed services is my guess..sending people into harms way and knowing young folks die is not an easy thing, and those who clamor for war usually never experienced war first hand. It is easy to watch on your TV laying on the couch
