When I first got my drivers' license at 17, I came home one day complaining that another driver had tailgated me, flashed his brights at me, and ultimately passed me on the right and flipped me off as he passed.

As I told my story, I confessed that I had been doing the speed limit in the left lane of a highway.

My dad said, "Oh, man - people who do THAT should be SHOT!"

Even at my tender age of 17, unwise in the ways of the world, I understood that my dad was making a point, that he had never shot anyone in his life and would not start with people going slow in the passing lane.

So - your question - "how does the Right run around this one?" They won't. They understand that this guy was making a point, that he banks on the attention that extreme comments garner him, they know that he doesn't represent their values and that only people like you will try to make something out of this comment.

It's a non-issue that is only a big one for small minds.

The crime of abortion presents this kind of dilemma when it is illegal, who to punish. The same problem occurs with other bans on activities, things like prostitution, alcohol consumption(when it was banned and when its abused) and use of other illegal substances.

The service providers of abortions were usually targeted for prosecution by law enforcement, but there were always at least two people directly involved, the mother and the abortionist. It is not unlike hiring someone to kill another. Both the killer and the person who hired the killer are usually responsible before the law. I do not know why that was not the case in abortion law before, but it seems like a logical outcome, unless we consider pregnant women as insane.

The democrats lied that a fetus is a subhuman lump of cells and secretly declared a war on babies for eugenics to implement population control of who they consider undesirable. They as Social Darwinists believe that if a woman falls for the deciption then it's great because she won't have that child born as dumb as her being a burden on society. If liberals really gave two shits about women having rights to their bodies then there a lot of nonviolent drug users would not sitting in prisons. I personally think this guy is over reacting and it would be better to send an abortion patient with a copy of her personal procedure to preschools and kindergarten classes explaining her choices to the kids.

ONE columnist NO ONE EVER HEARD OF means "the right" hates women but LITERALLY ALL DEMOCRATS say not nearly enough little girls are MUTILATED TO DEATH and that's A-O.K. with - well - #yesEVERYdemocrat, obviously.

"They keep claiming that that "there is no war on women"."

Well this does not infirm it. Let's say he was saying that he wants to hang Men Who Have Sex With Prostitutes. Would this be "war on men"?

It's simply a typical american religious nuts that has nothing to do with "men vs women" and has everything to do with "Jesus vs Satan"

Because to have a "war," one must have an army. One columnist does not an army make.

FYI... One person's outrageous opinion does not constitute a "war."

You think one kook represents an entire ideology? If that were the case, we could point out TONS of idiot liberals and their crazy ideas.

Not all conservatives are like that. 50% of conservatives are married, so I doubt they are waging war against women.
