why do i lack the motivation to do homework for my english 101 class?
I'm a college freshman, and english 101 is a required class i have to take, i didn't want to take it. My major i criminal justice and i do the homework for that class but not in english why is this?

You are undervaluing the class. I didn't major in English either, but I found it to be one of the most helpful courses in my college career. My writing skills were average when I entered college. After ENG 100 & 101, my writing skills were pretty advanced. What I learned about writing in ENG 100 & 101 helped be write A+ papers for the classes in my major. By time you get to Junior year, you'll be doing more writing than test taking.
