I have my ex girlfriend living with me, and last night I told her she had to move out.?

She was verbally abusive to one of my kids, and she has only been here 2 months. She called the police, and they said I had to evict her. Any recommendations? I don't want to have to have her around my kids for the next 2 months while these proceedings go on.

Obviously I'm not going to point a gun at her, and the police said I am not allowed to throw her stuff to the curb. I also can't change the locks.

I would buy a gun, point at her and give the the message. OR maybe when she goes to work, toss all her stuff out and when she is sleeping take the apartment keys from her. Those are your only way. Your ex won't leave because she knows she can't support herself.

Record your ex girlfriend verbally abusing your child and take it to the court. She should deserve some punishment for child abuse. This is wrong of her!

    EDIT:

Then take a video of her verbally abusing your son and take it to police. With evidence, she can be removed.

Man this sucks for you, you never live together unless you are married. She is a squatter for you. Good luck!

You can make life as uncomfortable for her as possible, so she may want to move out sooner. No cable TV, no internet, keep the house hotter or colder than she likes, don't provide food for her, etc.

Do you live in an apartment? If so, she's not on the lease, and therefore you can kick her out asap. Same goes for if you live in a trailer park.
