Why do female MRA's get more attention and respect than male MRA's?

They're a symbol. They are held up as some sort of proof that the MRM is obviously not sexist or misogynistic, since women choose to be MRAs too. I see male MRAs name-drop female MRAs all the time as a way to discount anyone who claims the MRM is a woman-hating movement.

Of course this type of rationalization is clearly not logical, since you don't have to be a man in order to choose to be sexist or hateful towards women. Women are just as capable of being misogynists as men are.

Considering that I only know of one female MRA and she's no more famous than the males... I have no idea what you're on about.

Female partnerships have been accepted by society for a longer period of time. Even in the Old Testament women lying together seems to have been acceptable. The reason is simple- the male to female ratio dictated a lot of single women that also needed to have their skin hunger satisfied.

But a male had the odds in his favor of finding a female companion. The Male also even now has the responsibility for passing the family name on. So for a man to enter into a single gender relationship was seem as being a failure to the family and the total society.

Because reproduction drives are so primate- it may also be the result of instinct and not culture.

Whats a MRA ?

Karen Straughan is the female MRA they celebrate. I honestly don't know why she gets respect. I watched one video that was so vile and sexist against women that I wondered if she was a woman. She was arguing against women getting the vote. She said because they were not fighting in the wars they had no right - not acknowledging that they were by law not allowed to fight in the wars in the USA but this showed a real lack of understanding of the origins of the suffrage movement that started after the French Revolution in which women did fight and expected to be part of the new constitution but were denied because of their gender. If you think about it, why was the Statue of Liberty celebrating the French revolution a woman? And in Delacroix's painting Liberty Leading the People - Liberty was also a woman.

A female MRA lol? Never heard of one. Regardless, I'd show her the same "respect" and attention that I do to the males...

Wait, MRA's get respect? From who? And why???
