How can I get rid of this sound my computer is making?

My computer has been making a "bum" type noise for months now, and it is at complete random. HOW CAN I MAKE IT STOP!!

    Scan for virus and or malware. Update your antivirus and run a full scan, the download and run MBAM Malwarebytes antimalware - google it there is a free version.

    If no better you may have to do a factory restore to rule out a hardware problem
