Opt Out Nation is about the people eligible and their reasons for not purchasing healthcare offered under regulations in Title I of the Affordable Care Act, (By the way there are 10 titles. You should read it. It relates to much more than healthcare insurance offered on the websites.)

    but it is not

    not about government run healthcare.

At this time Medicare the Veterans Administration and Medicaid are government run healthcare, but they are not addressed in the Article.

    Was the article informative?

    No.

We know healthcare insurance is very high priced. We suspected that the prior to March 31, 2014, goal/estimate of the number of people signing up (7 million) was based on expected reactions to the price of healthcare, which took place, as noted in the article. So the article is not informative or surprising at all. But as the article indicates, the average price of healthcare may be going down and that is a reversal of the trend, and that was caused by mechanisms in the Affordable Care Act to bring the cost down or stop the inflation trend that has existed for decades.
