I thought Halloween was meant to be 'scary'?

Halloween can be scary and it was originally meant to be scary to scare off evil spirits, but these days, it doesn't always have to be. Some people like to dress up in a costume that's either funny or just straight up awesome or a costume they feel matches who they are as a person. People still dress up as zombies, vampires, mummies, fictional serial killers, etc., but Halloween has expanded it's horizons by allowing people to dress up as whatever they want.

If people were only allowed to dress up in a costume that was scary, Halloween wouldn't be any fun for some people. I see nothing wrong in someone dressing up as a cop, or a fireman, a superhero, a fairy, etc. because that's one of the main points of Halloween, to dress up as whatever you want to be.

Some girls thinks that's the only way they can get a mans attention but in reality they just look stupid. A girl should have respect for herself as a woman. Be smart, sophisticated, and nice also a great personality wins guys over not being slutty.

Do something out of character if it is what pleases you.

At the right moment, firemen and cops are superheroes, Superheroes are ...well... superheroes. Women chose to dress as slutty ---<blanks>--- because they don't normally get to do that - IT'S JUST A BIT OF FUN.

Some people view it as the only day when they can dress slutty without being judged, but I think it's boring.

Originally, Halloween was NOT meant to be 'scary'. Grown women WITH their kids would go around to houses in everyday clothes asking for spare food or clothes for the poor in their town, not treats for themselves. It was a religious holiday. "All Hallow's Eve" The holy evening.

Halloween is many things,not just this scarey. And many have fun,and enjoy the day,and do not just focus on what may be slutty.~

It's called not being a brainless zombie, you should try it sometime.
