Skyrim has just squeaked past GTA: San Andreas
It seems many of the games now are nothing more than Movies interrupted by a few minutes of moving the character around. they are taking away the Game Playing, and returning us to elaborate well storied "Donkey Kong". Games where you must follow a specific path and do a precise movement, or get wasted and start over at the last way point, and keep doing it until you pass to the next way point. Boring after a while.
At least we have Skyrim and GTA: San Andreas, which allow for some thinking rather than just "shoot'em up".
