No- do not sand anything. You can change springs- just google it.
The easier thing to do is to sell the gun, and buy something better.

I own a Sigma. Good gun, at least from the standpoint that mine always works. However, that trigger is just what you get with that gun. I'd agree with Higgy Baby, and suggest you just buy a different gun.
