why people wear wrist watches when cell phones having watch?

I just like the look of a watch, even when I wear one I sometimes look at my phone for the time. So basically they're cosmetic

Because you can buy a watch cheaply. A cell phone costs more than 10 watches, plus you have to pay monthly.

Because it is easier to look at your wrist than hunt for your phone, get it out of it's case and activate it to see what the time is.

Only some do that, but I don't.

Hindus have the tradition of wearing Kankanam on hand. It serves the purpose of some Yoga and improves blood circulation in the left arm.

Because they are much cooler and NOT complicated like a stupid cell phone.

It comes in handy during boring conversations. You can glance at your watch and explain that you have to leave because you have something important to do in a few minutes.

How will you tie the cell-phone on the hand?
