How can you tell the difference between premature ventricular contractions (PVC) and premature atrial contractions (PAC).?

    Both occur before you expect the next complex should occur. PVC is a wide complex with no P wave, and a PAC is narrow complex and has a p wave. There and PJCs as well which are narrow complex which may have no p wave or a retrograde p.

    Of course I'm making an assumption that you're looking at an ECG strip ...
