Sell the car and pay it off is the only thing you can do. If the car is in fair condition it is worth $7669. This would give you $669 dollars to walk away with and keep your good credit.

You have a lot to learn about loans and credit. It doesn't matter if you want the payments or not. You agreed to make them and are obligated to do so, You can't give the payments to someone else. The only way out of the loan is to pay it off. To do anything else will negatively affect your credit.

You can always try to sell the car, but if you can't sell it for the amount you owe on the loan, you'll still have to pay the balance on what you owe.
