Will running my headphones on full Bass mode all the time eventually wear them out and ruin them?

So I got a pair of Turtle Beach Px-12's over the summer and if any of you have Turtle beach headphones you'll know how they all come with a bass boosting feature. I always pump this up to full blast (not the volume though. I can't stand listening to super loud music..) so that explosions while gaming sound better and so that when I am listening to music it sounds great with the bass boosted. However I was wondering. By running with the bass boosted all the time will it wear out my headphones and eventually wreck them completely? All the bass mode does is pump up the volume of the bass. I never hear any cracking coming from the headphones are hear the speakers nearly break or anything like that. Like I said, I never pump up the volume very high (as to not break them since I do know that putting the volume too high will wreck your headphones completely). For forty dollar headphones they are surprisingly wonderful and I could replace them if they ever do break but I would like to keep them for at least a long time... was just wondering! Thanks!

Well turtle beaches are top-of-the-line headphones and if you take care of them you should have no problems. However keep in mind "entropy" which is the natural and unavoidable decay of everything in the universe. So, No. Having the bass boost with not wreck your headphones, but try to keep the volume at the lowest audible level possible.

I'm not sure about wearing them out or ruining them but most certainly turn it down where possible! I am partially deaf myself and wouldn't wish hearing loss on anybody and headphones being too loud can be one of the main causes and sometimes you don't even realise how loud it is. Take care & protect your ears!
