will doe urine calm deer?
Hey I'm looking to set up a blind and another tree stand out where I hunt. It is close to a suburb and the deer don't spook too badly but I'm wondering if I put some regular doe urine down somewhere near the blind and tree stand of it might help the deer not be spooked by the new sight. Any input? And I know these are deer and there is no guarantee in how they will react

Deer dont have very good memory, so if you have the stand there a few days prior, they'll be used to it.
Using urine may lure older bucks 2 to 3 weeks before their peak breeding. They may come to investigate but effectiveness of these scents tend to wear off as the deer become accustomed to them.

Do not be on the ground when the buck sneaks in. Estrus lure brings them in to mate.
