Scale coming off Fancy Goldfish?

I have I Fancy Goldfish who had 1 scale come off. The other scales look fine. It's a 55 Gallon Aquarium with 2 Fancy Goldfish (~3"-4"). And 1 Pleco (4"-5"). Aquarium is not cycled. I added a Cycling Aid and have plenty of oxygen. The temp is 74F-76F. I have a 12" air stone, 1 round air stone, and a power head to create oxygen. I have an Aqua Clear 70 Filter made for aquariums up to 70g. I feed small amounts 1-2x a day. The Pleco eats algae wafers. Again it's only 1 goldfish that has this issue. I got him 1 weeks ago from a LFS. His scale (1) fell of 2-3 days ago and is healing but I'm still worried. I know that Test Strips aren't accurate but my readings are: pH=7.5. Nitrate=5, Nitrite=2, Hardness is 70. Alkalainity is 150. I know my Nitrite is high so I'm doing 15% water changes 2-3x a week. All fish are active and are eating good.

Update:

I have several pieces of driftwood, plenty of algae wafers, and feed zucchini often. The pleco is not terrorizing the goldfish. The goldfish was like that when I bought him. And they only eat the slime coat of flat goldfish. Not egg-shape goldfish.

    1. you have a pleco, they are known for sucking on the side of goldfish and harassing them to death

    2. you have a toxic tank, nitrite poisoning will lead to various other problems. (Add a teaspoon of freshwater aquarium salt per 10 gallons to reduce nitrite sensitivity in the fish and continue with water changes, maybe increase to 25-30% if you're careful to match temperature)

You are really likely to have a common plecostomus, a parasite not a tankmate for goldfish. He is eating the goldfish cause YOU RAN OUT OF ALGAE WAFERS, DRIFTWOOD, AND VEGETABLES TO SUPPLY HIM.

hello there EDUARDO this happends atleast once to goldfish , if they scrape on a ragged surface they can get this happened to my betta (took décor out) what happened is it falls of or it flatends out and heals to get it fixed quicker you can use a treatment for scale/finrot most likely it will flatten out as it heals mine took 2 1/2 days to fix ( with finrot treatment )
