Who are some physically strong female characters in folklore and mythology?

They can be strong in hand to hand combat or use like spells and stuff.

    Strength is in the attitude. Actaeon was a famous Theban hero. One day while hunting, he came across the goddess Artemis bathing in a stream. Enraged, Artemis turned him into a stag. Not recognizing their own master, he was torn to pieces by his own hunting dogs.
