My mom has diabetes and I gave her a shot then i put the top into the syringe and accidentally poked myself hard and now my thumb has a red spot and t did bleed a lot at first. Should i be worried now? What is the best thing i should do? She don't have any other disease except diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol.

If your mom does not have any infectious diseases that are transmitted via blood (like HIV or hepatitis) then you have nothing to worry about. Some bleeding in a wound is a good thing as it will force out the microbes that may have been pushed in from your skin.

Thumbs up to gottathink. Just wash your hands with soap and water, my friend. Nothing will come of it.
