A 40 year old female has a history of anemia, severe menstrual bleeding, weight gain, hair loss, lack of energy, chronic sinus infections, and intestinal problems. She is currently going through a divirce from an extremely abusive spouse and is seeing both a psychologist and a medical doctor. The medical doctor would like to begin treatment of the above symptoms. The psychologist believes the symptoms are due to stress and suggests therapy sessions.
