Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a $32 billion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals - hair's worst enemies. • Hair products may claim one or more benefits, but usually they do not have scientific base. "No hair product can change the hair's biology," says Eric Bone, senior VP of global research and innovation @ L'Oreal USA. "Products that 'repair' them are like glue used to put a broken vase back together. At the end of the day, it's still broke," says dermatologist Paul J. McAndrews, MD, a clinical professor @ the University of Southern California School of Medicine. "Overall, products are a temporary fix, although some can help prevent damage. But your best bet is really to stop damaging hair, period."
Thick HEALTHY hair comes from your good genes, but you can use hair products temporary, until you wash your hair again. Good hair care and eating all the healthy foods from Mother Nature helps in the growing process but it won't make your hair any thicker, if your hair is thin. Cutting your hair 1=2x a year, helps with looking thicker, but if it's fine, it will always be fine hair. Giselle Bundchen, the world's highest-earning supermodel, a new Ambassador for Pantene says, she doesn't even own a hairbrush. ‘‘Products are amazing but if you are putting things that are unhealthy inside your body it’s just masking stuff. ... I haven’t drank soda in 10 years. My kids eat what I eat. The first (solid) food my son had was papaya and then avocado. ... They really eat what I eat.’’

You have thin hair? Treat your hair like that of a baby's hair, LOTS OF TLCs. I know you're an adult now with adult hair, but there are symptoms for bleaching, hair straightening, relaxing, crimping hair even to normal hair types. Imagine that happening to your hair, adding conditioner just weighs the hair down even more. That's another reason why the hair industry is a billion dollar business, but they do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss due to 'abuse', and hair loss happen more to people with thin or coarse hair. HEAT & CHEMICALS are hair's worst enemies, specially worst for people with thin hair. If it's longer, you can braid them the night before, take the braids out, finger comb, and your hair will be thicker, curlier for days!
Get the right kind of haircut for your hair. The cut should not only be according to your face shape, but also according to your hair quality. If you have really fine hair, a shorter crop with more texture will give the appearance of a fuller head. You can also opt for bangs, as they are a great hairstyle option. Avoid growing your hair too long as it tends to appear very fine.
Thick hair comes from your good genes, no hair product can make your hair thicker, even though they said it will, until your next shampoo.
But, you can make your hair thicker, see Kris Jenner - Kim's mom, how she does that! She set her top layers of hair in plastic curlers - had been seen working away @ home or office with 6 curlers on. Blow dry. Let them cool. Take the curlers out. Tousle with your hands and you're good to go! Simple! If you're drying your hair: Upside down blow drying. Bend at your waist, turn your head down and blow dry. Straighten up to a voluminous, super full mane! And if you want volume: VOLUME is something you can do to manipulate the hair: bobby pin curl, braid, plastic curlers all can add volume to your hair. Put your head down, shake your hair, YOU'VE GOT INSTANT VOLUME.
Myth: You can't make flat, fine hair look full of body.
Truth: Five minutes with a set of large hot rollers will add life to straight hair.

she is a normal teen girl, and wants to wash it with her shower every night. She also conditions the hair. It looks better than it did, with the new conditioner, yet it does not look full and thick looking. I think they call it volume.
Any tricks she could use? She does eat very well and gets proper nutrition.
