Would democrats truly vote for Hillary Clinton after she mislead them on Iraq?

“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security.” — Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002

  • She is certainly a better choice than anyone the Guardians Of Plutocracy are offering. Personally, I believe the far right (no compromise) agenda of the Republicans will be the key to keeping the White House blue for the foreseeable future. I doubt that any Republican that can beat Hillary will survive a Republican primary season.

Don't know where you got your information, but Saddam Hussein was captured on 13 of December 2003. He was tried by the Iraqi interim government on 5 November 2006. Hussein was convicted and was sentenced to death by hanging. His execution was carried out on 30 December 2006 so there is no way that he could be rebuilding his chemical and biological weapons stock since inspectors left. Clinton did not mislead on Iraq, but Bush did when he caused thousands of unnecessary American military deaths searching for nonexistent weapons of mass destruction that he knew did not exist.
