I doubt this is from falling off a horse. No, these hands are not real. If it only happens during dreams, then you need to think about what the dreams mean. If it happens when you are awake, then that is a hallucination. You can get medicine for that so you can function better. And now, it has nothing to do with being adopted. People have hallucinations whether they are adopted or not.

My husband has been bucked off many a horse and never saw disembodied hands as a result. I arm an adoptee and never have either. A tendency to hallucinate, though, can be inherited, so one or both of your original parents may have had this problem and it along to you.

Give it up Lizz. Your dreams about hands not being real have nothing to do with you being adopted. Hands are real and you have not felt sick your entire life because you fell off a horse.
