GUYS, I NEED TOUR ADVICE. Why does he text me first, I respond...then ignores me?

As someone who has done a lot of on-line dating..

Many people commuicate with more than one person at a time. I think he's somewhat interested otherwise he wouldn't respond or text you at all but I also think what he's doing is keeping you at arms length in the event someone he thinks might be a better offer doesn't work out.

Another possibility is when he suddenly stops texting with no goodbye and returns a day or 2 later. It's possible he's not actually single. He could have a GF or even a wife. I have found in my experience, a good number of guys on dating sites are not actually single.

As far as age... men of all ages do that.

However, they're not all like that so don't be too discouraged. I met my husband online and he was worth the wait.

You're 23 not 13 so if you can't call him and he won't call you then the two of you are going nowhere. Sorry but if he liked you he would call or at least text you - a man will make time if he's really interested in you

He must like you enough to make an effort to text you but if he isn't why bother giving him the time of day he isn't returning back to you he Is playing how do I say baseball so when he misses the ball he hopes you catch it be the pitcher standing in front not the one sitting behind. Take control and stand your ground make the first move. Guys like a girl who's independent and dont need to rely on him. And desperation is a huge turn off hide it.

Why not call him and clear the air? It'll put him on the spot and he'll be forced to decide. I don't see how texting can advance a relationship and it should only be used to confirm stuff or anything short like that....never for a full-blown conversation

Doesn't sound like he's really interested...best just to stop texting him for the minute.

If he REALLY likes you he will go out of his to talk to you.

Don't waste your time chasing someone who while ignore you!
