I've heard that adding cinnamon to your diet would lower blood pressure or does it lower blood sugar?

I take two cinnamon capsules a day and it seems to help a little, but the effect is not drastic. I will probably drop this after I run out and see if I notice a change or not before buying any more.

I took capsules (like 3 x a day) and it did nothing for me (but my bg is not ever high); kind of like the raspberry ketone capsules (yea, I experiment on myself). I think part of it is psychological, and part of it is the cinnamon makes your mouth feel/taste like it's eating dessert so you don't crave sweets so much. In general, I've always loved cinnamon so I add to coffee and dishes for a slightly more exotic flavor. Fenugeek and tumeric (I think it was that) are also supposed to be real good for your health.

It does help me quite a bit, but I take the cinnamon capsules and that is quite a bit of cinnamon. Other people I have visited with about this say it didn't help them at all.

You can only experiment with it, but I do recommend you use the capsules to find out as cinnamon is really hard to take otherwise.

It tends to lower the spike in blood sugar that occurs after meals by a small amount, but it takes a lot of cinnamon and the effect is so small in most people that its not very effective.
