Update:

A Geologist has collected 8 specimens of basaltic rock and 8 specimens of granite. The geologist instructs a laboratory assistant to randomly select 10 of the specimens for analysis.

P(# of basaltic rock specimen selected = # of granite specimens selected)

P(all specimens of one of the two types of rock are selected for analysis)

    P(5,5)=8C5*8C5/16C10=3136/8008=56/143

    2C1*8C8*8C2/16C10=56/8008=2/286=1/143
