I have bipolar disorder, and my wife has epilepsy, and I'd have to say bipolar disorder seems easier to deal with to me. I might get a bit manic at times, which can be difficult, but having seizures sucks.

Why does almost everyone in this section feel they have the right suggest negativity to another individuals condition? I have epilepsy and my daughter's father has bipolar disorder. Both of us are doing just fine and I take serious offense to the implication of your question!

Bipolar disorder, I already have it and I have a masters degree, a good job and a pretty good life. Both can be controlled pretty effectively with proper treatment

Bi Polar. I was misdiagnosed with it once and the Dr's were giving me drugs for a disorder I didn't even have. I have Borderline PD. I am familiar with it and know how to manage it. I don't want seizures.

I dont know. Neither do I. but I do, and we're VERY happy you asked. Jerk, I can't believe you asked that. We're a regular cocktail mix of disorder here. So am I. *bites tongue, eyes roll back in head, and starts convulsing really hard*
