Have you had to deal with a jerk recently?

A one time friend of mine from Canada has been laying into folks lately with 'dumb American' jokes lately and I had to end our relationship tonight over it. God knows why, but, they've turned into a terrible snob lately and have been turning their nose up at everyone they see as being below them. Which, as it turns out is something of a common occurrence from what I hear for him.

    If recently means say the past 3 months... and we're talking about a friend-at-the-time... nope, at least nothing I can remember.
